In the lobby, when getting out of the elevator, one can be led outdoors; as an important part of the sensual experience, the outdoor space can give an atmosphere of vacation and leisure in a city hotel. To solve the problem of the shear wall dissecting the space, a continuous arc magic stone wall traverses the root and extends to the floor, and the segment-style arc false ceiling is striking and unique, accommodating and leading to the hotel lobby, audio/video room, restroom, children’s area, book bar, and so on; meanwhile, it makes every space characteristic, where one can have a wonderful experience.

In the office area, the design seeks to have more common space; different from ordinary partitioned offices, it does not bother to define and emphasize the attributes of space. Spatially, the open second floor is interconnected to the office and gym areas; the layered staircases, boxes in a number of combinations, massive perforated boards and frosted glass come together to form interesting and comfortable spatial relations

In the restaurant area, the core cone of the tower in the restaurant’s primal space occupies the center, while the restaurant surrounds the core cone in one circle, making every space stagnant. As for the streamlines, one can walk out of the common space and the elevator hall and directly get to the open dining area. From here, one can go outdoors or to the bar area and the private dining room area. Further, it is a huge viewing platform, which is elaborately designed as a key element for the outdoor space to make up for the inherently insufficient space; a large number of pull/push doors are used to interconnect the indoor and outdoor spaces; rain sheds with a look of design, little waterscape, barricades, and greenery are employed to create an environment for dining and socializing outdoors.

In the standard room, the straight staircase is used to save on space; light and thin steel panels plus massive glass are utilized to represent the philosophy of deft and clean design. The extending horizontal board interconnects the space, and from the bathroom’s false ceiling rises something like a chimney, which is the bookcase of the loft; the ingenious design also turns the bookcase into a “skylight” of the bathroom. In a bathroom in the middle of the plane, one can enjoy a bath in natural light.
